What this site itself records
There is no login, no cookie set by this site, no analytics script and no tracking pixel. The web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, page requested, time, browser string — for security and fault-finding. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not shared.
What the payment platform collects
Card payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), which acts as merchant of record. Creem collects the name, email address, card details, billing address and country it needs to take the payment, issue a receipt and pay the right tax. That data is held by Creem under Creem’s privacy policy. Your card details never reach this site.
Two other third parties
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses, so a request to Google carries your IP address and browser string.
- Your email provider and ours — if you write to us, the message passes through them and we keep it while it is useful for answering you and supporting a purchase.
What we never do
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data with anyone for their own use.
- No marketing email unless you ask for it.
- No profiles built from your browsing.
Your rights
Under South Africa’s POPIA, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask what personal data we hold, have it corrected or deleted, and object to it being used. Email the address above and it is answered within two working days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa or to the data-protection authority in your own country.
Children
This shop sells to teachers and tutors, not to children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal data to us, email us and it is deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
